Every day is "Grandparents Day" at Elders Without Walls!

Our "Adopt a Grandparent" program is offered in celebration of the contribution this Greatest Generation has made in our lives and in the world.

If you would like to communicate regularly with a resident of an assisted living facility, our "Adopt a Grandparent" program might be right for you.  What do adopted Grandchildren do?  They keep in regular touch via e-mail with their adopted Grandparent.

Please check out our E-Mail Pen-Pal Directory if you are interested in adopting a grandparent. There you will find a list of residents of assisted living facilities that would like to receive e-mail messages from other people, together with some general information about each resident, such as their interests and hobbies, background, and where they are from. You can read through the list to find someone you'd be interested in corresponding with.

Do NOT give any financial information about yourself.

Never ask for financial information.

Host John and the webmasters WILL NEVER ask for any financial information.

If you are not sure about whether to participate as a Pen Pal, please talk with someone you know already in your own family or neighborhood who has Internet experience.
